1. Enzian Theater is hosting a 35th-anniversary screening of the cult classic martial arts film, "Miami Connection" on Friday, August 5. The film was shot in Orlando in 1987 and features recognizable landmarks throughout. (Bungalower)

2. A man found dead inside a car at an Orlando parking lot Sunday afternoon around 1 p.m. had "traumatic injuries," Orange County Sheriff's Office said in a release. Wingly St. Wil, 39, was found dead when deputies came to the 1800 block of Americana Boulevard near Rio Grande Avenue. There is no information on the suspect available at this time. (Fox 35)

3. Oviedo leaders met Monday to discuss potential changes to the redevelopment of the Oviedo Mall. The owners want to redevelop the mall’s property to include hundreds of apartments open to all ages. Previously the project was only going to target seniors. (Click Orlando)

4. Osceola County has one of the highest foreclosure rates of any U.S. county. A total of 478 housing units were in foreclosure in the first half of 2022, up 239% from the first half of last year. (24/7 Wall St. - Orlando)

5. Orlando Pride mounted a two-goal lead but settled for a 2-2 final score on Sunday night's game against Kansas City Current. The Pride were led by goals from Celia and Julie Doyle. Pride managed to finish the month of July unbeaten. (Orlando City SC)

  • The Florida Supreme Court has disciplined six attorneys including three in Central Florida. The three Orlando-area attorneys are James F. Feuerstein III, Melanie L. Johnson and Bradley Nephase Laurent. (Subscription: Orlando Business Journal)
  • Transportation expert and executive vice president for Railroad Consultants, Bob O’Malley, is seeking a seat on the Altamonte Springs City Commission in District 4. He is currently running unopposed. (Florida Politics)
