Freshman FL Congressman Denounces DeSantis With Profanity At DC Concert
Central Florida Democratic Rep. Maxwell Frost yelled "(expletive) Ron DeSantis, (expletive) fascism" while performing with Paramore in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A central Florida congressman used profanity to denounce the Sunshine State’s governor while performing with the band Paramore at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., Friday night.
Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) retweeted videos of himself singing and dancing with the band as it performed its 2007 hit song "Misery Business."
After the performance, lead singer Hayley Williams asked Frost if he had a message for the audience.

The 26-year-old Gen Z lawmaker told the crowd, "(Expletive) Ron DeSantis, (expletive) fascism." The audience responded with cheers and applause.
Florida’s Republican governor launched his presidential campaign May 24 and has since campaigned in early caucus state Iowa and first primary state New Hampshire.

During his launch on Twitter, DeSantis said that “we must restore sanity to our nation,” also noting that President Joe Biden, "takes his cues from the woke mob."
When retweeting a video of his message from stage, Frost wrote, "I said what I said."
In another tweet, Frost wrote, “Very grateful for this moment. I’ve been practicing in the shower for YEARS.”
During the band’s recent concert in Atlanta, according to Fox 35, Williams also told fans, "I’ll be happy to tell you I’m very (expletive) comfortable talking politics. If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re (expletive) dead to me. Is that comfortable enough for anyone?"
Paramore has two upcoming Florida concerts. The band will perform June 13 at Amway Center in Orlando and June 14 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
