1. Lizzy McCormack's Irish Bar is closing its doors on September 5, according to social media posts. The owner said she found it "illogical to maintain a drinkery in downtown Orlando with increasing rent and decreasing demand." (Bungalower)

2. Seminole County is giving $850,000 from its community block grant COVID-19 funding to help Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The goal is to help more families who are struggling to purchase food with rising inflation. (Click Orlando)

3. A 23-year-old woman shot while celebrating her birthday in downtown Orlando last weekend during an incident that also injured six others is speaking out saying "you can't even go out and celebrate your birthday without fear of being shot and possibly dying." City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said the city needs to do more to address the violence downtown. (WESH)

4. Lake County's supervisor of elections said at least 4,000 voters received false voter information from two organizations, The Republican Party of Lake County and Florida4America.org. The supervisor said the groups falsely encouraged people not to vote by mail. (WFTV)

5. The Florida Department of Health in Orange County is offering free school immunizations for kindergarteners and seventh graders at an event on Saturday at OCPS Academic Center for Excellence. No appointment is necessary, however a parent or guardian with a valid ID and completed consent forms must accompany the student, according to the health department. (Click Orlando)
