1. Work crews were left with a pile of bricks to remove after a truck dumped them all over Interstate 4 in Orlando on Monday morning, police said. According to the Orlando Police Department, the incident happened on I-4 east near the Florida Turnpike, resulting in a traffic jam for area drivers. (Orlando Patch)

2. Saturday was a deadly day on the roads in Osceola County, according to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol. In the early hours, just after 2 a.m., a two-car accident claimed the life of a 56-year-old Kissimmee man on Simpson Road, then a motorcyclist was killed mid-morning on Michigan Avenue. 3. Long lines continue to grow at the federal government's immigration office in Orlando. Homeland Security says the pile-up is because anyone recently apprehended at the southern border and then released into the country must appear in-person for their initial appointment. 5. The Ocoee City Commission approved the extension of the franchise agreement with Lake Apopka Natural Gas District Franchise at its April 19 meeting. The agreement gives Lake Apopka Natural Gas a non-exclusive right to manufacture, import, transport, distribute and sell manufactured or natural gas in Ocoee.
