Here are the top five stories in Orlando today:

1. Authorities in Seminole County said an SUV crashed into the front of a home in Longwood on Friday. Seminole County firefighters worked with Longwood firefighters to pull out the driver, who had minor injuries. No one in the home was injured. (Fox 35 Orlando)

2. Southeastern Grocers Inc., the parent company of Winn Dixie and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket, made a donation of $395,000 to nine children’s hospitals, including Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The donation was made as part of National Cancer Research Month. (WFTV)

3. A man is dead after an officer-related shooting Saturday night outside of an Olive Garden on Conroy Road, Orlando police said. The officers involved were placed on administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates. (Click Orlando)

4. An investigation is underway over the purchase of "Gender Queer: A Memoir" by a local school library system. In emails obtained by the Orlando Sentinel in coordination with the Florida Freedom to Read Project, DOE employee Ian Dohme wrote to an Orange County Public Schools administrator saying, "the office is trying to figure out who approved the book." 5. Kissimmee Fire Department will be one of the first in the state to use a new program, called Tele911, aimed to help serve patients and also paramedics responding to emergency calls. The Kissimmee Fire Department will officially start using the Tele911 program Monday, June 6. (WESH)

  • While the rest of the country is focused on the NBA Finals, The Orlando Magic's draft process is well under way as the team began workouts and interviews this week at the Amway Center. (Orlando Magic Daily)
  • The F.B.I.'s Art Crime Team is investigating the authenticity of 25 paintings that the Orlando Museum of Art says were created by Basquiat and are on exhibit at the museum, according to a federal subpoena and a report by the New York Times. The artworks became a controversial sticking point when a prior piece by the NYT questioned the pieces. (The New York Times)
