1. 2 new food booths are set to debut at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts starting on January 14th, 2022. They will be called Deco Delights and The Craftman’s Courtyard. During the event, guests can enjoy more than 100 Disney and visiting artists spread out across the theme park. (Click Orlando)

2. A Tampa Bay hospital announced its first confirmed case of the new COVID-19 omicron variant on Tuesday. James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital confirmed the case and said the patient is "experiencing mild symptoms and recently returned from international travel." (Tampa Patch)
3. The City of Winter Park will host a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Winter Park Library and Events Center on Saturday, December 11th at 9 a.m. The free event will run through 3 p.m. (Bungalower)
4. The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando has announced that Borrelli + Partners will undertake the design of its new home and construction will be carried out by H.J. High. The animal shelter received nearly $1 million in donations in the weeks following a devastating fire that broke out in September. (Fox 35 Orlando)
5. Orlando Pride has hired UCLA's Amanda Cromwell as its new head coach. The announcement was made not long after trading two long-time stars to Gotham FC, goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris and defender Ali Krieger. (Orlando Weekly)
