Holiday travel rush continues at Orlando International Airport (wesh.com) — If you’re flying out of Orlando International Airport, expect long lines, possible delays, and big crowds as the holiday rush builds toward a Jan. 3 peak. TSA is urging travelers to arrive early, watch flight status closely, and be ready for weather-related disruptions affecting flights into and out of Orlando.
   

2. WWE returns to Tampa with the WWE Live Holiday Tour (mysuncoast.com) — Orlando wrestling fans are in the spotlight as WWE’s Performance Center here remains a home base for many superstars and hosts key training. After a packed Tampa stop on the Holiday Tour, fans can look toward Monday Night Raw wrapping up the year just down the road in Orlando.

Longhorns want to ‘send a message and dominate' the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl (krqe.com) — Orlando is gearing up to host the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, where Texas’ largely intact offensive line aims to prove the Longhorns still belong in the national title conversation. With Michigan in town and fewer opt-outs than expected, both teams see Wednesday’s game in Orlando as a high-profile stage to showcase depth, toughness, and future NFL talent.
   

4. New public registry allows lookups of people convicted of animal abuse across Florida (wftv.com) — Starting Jan. 1, a new animal abuse registry backed by Florida law enforcement will let Orlando residents and others statewide check whether someone has prior animal cruelty convictions before adopting or rehoming a pet. Announced from Orlando, the Dexter’s Law database aims to boost pet safety and carries serious consequences for offenders’ records, housing, and future pet ownership.
