1. The suspected killer of a maintenance man at Sanford's Husseini Islamic Center has been shot by police in Indian River County. 38-year-old Ahmed Raslan is suspected of killing an as-yet unnamed 59-year-old worker at the mosque on Thursday morning, according to police. (Orlando Weekly)

2. Forty-year-old Joseph Komjathy is behind bars at the Brevard County jail and charged with multiple counts related to child exploitation. Komjathy is a middle school teacher in Brevard County, but the charge came from Indian River County. (WESH)

3. The City of Ocala celebrated the homecoming of three famed Olympians on Saturday. Hundreds of people came out for a parade for Olympic athletes Brittany Bowe, Erin Jackson and Joey Mantia. The trio recently took home medals for speed skating at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. (WFTV)

4. Pizza Bruno is opening a new restaurant in College Park. The popular restaurant, owned by Bruno Zacchini, will be opening a second location in the former Tin and Taco space at 2429 Edgewater Drive. (Bungalower)

5. Alliance Realty is working with the Ukrainian Catholic church in Apopka to collect donations for Ukrainian refugees. The donations recently collected include clothing, nonperishable food, blankets and medical supplies. The church is accepting donations on-site at 245 Lake McCoy Drive in Apopka. (Click Orlando)
