1. Walt Disney Imagineering shared video showing the first high-speed test run of its anticipated new attraction, TRON Lightcycle Run. The roller coaster is under construction currently in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. (Click Orlando)
2. The Orange County Sheriff's Office released hundreds of files pertaining to the murder of Miya Marcano on Wednesday night. WESH requested all files relating to the 19-year-old Valencia College student, who was first reported missing on Sept. 24, 2021 and then later found dead. (WESH)
3. More than 4,000 people have signed a Change.org petition calling for a memorial to be erected at the site of the Orlando FreeFall ride to honor Tyre Sampson, the teenager who fell to his death off the attraction earlier this year. The group also says they want thrill rides to be made safer and they want the Orlando FreeFall drop tower to be torn down. (Fox 35 Orlando)
4. Catch a group dedicated to playing the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack live at Winter Park's Geek Easy during MegaCon. On top of the big band performance, the group known as the Bebop Bounty Big Band will be aided by projections of the series' arc as they perform. (Orlando Weekly)
5. Farm and Haus has announced that it will be opening a second location of its popular concept in East End Market in the recently vacated Café de France space on Park Avenue in Winter Park. The new location will offer more menu items and locally-sourced goods. (Bungalower, Orlando Weekly)
