1. Goff's Ice Cream stand, one of Orlando’s most historic businesses to date, was vandalized Wednesday morning, according to the drive-in’s Facebook page. Goff's Ice Cream stand posted images from a surveillance camera, showing a man walk behind the building with a bag in his hand moments before smoke was seen coming from the building. (Click Orlando)
2. Sanford police are asking for the community's help to identify a man who is accused of breaking into a home and battering a resident inside. Police said the man broke into a home on the 800 block of Elm Avenue last Friday around 3:15 a.m. and battered a resident inside, before running away from the home. (WFTV)
3. A Flagler County man was arrested Wednesday for an alleged sex video with a 13-year-old child at Hidden Trails Community Park on Mahogany Boulevard. Officials said the video showed unlawful sexual acts involving 21-year-old, Dyllan Lemoine, and a 13-year-old female child. (WESH)
4. Milk District entertainment venue, Iron Cow, is finally reopening its doors today, May 7 at 4 p.m. The venue will host a community event of its own that it is calling “Cowabunga” which will feature live music by local groups Jump Drv, Mountain Crab, Trash Cinema, and more. Iron Cow is located at 2438 East Robinson Street. (Bungalower)
5. Valencia College has received a $100,000 grant from the Johnson Controls Community College Partnership Program to expand its associate degree and certificate programs in Energy Management and Controls Technology (EMCT). (Valencia College)
