Walt Disney World Ticket Prices To Rise In 2025: Reports
Walt Disney World Resort ticketing for 2025 became available Tuesday, and customers may be surprised to see an increase in ticket prices.
ORLANDO, FL — The most magical place on Earth could cost more to visit next year as media reports say Walt Disney World is raising its many of its ticket prices.
Resort ticketing for 2025 became available Tuesday, and national media outlet reported a price hike from the Florida attraction's 2024 sales price.
For example, both CNN and USA Today reported a single-day, single-park ticket for one person will cost $119. That's a $10 increase from 2024.

"That’s up from this year’s starting price of $109 for select dates at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but on par with current ticket prices at Universal Orlando Resort," USA Today reported.
The Washington Post reported the cost for Walt Disney World's cheapest ticket has not been raised since 2018.

CNN reported Animal Kingdom tickets were also affected by the price hike with an increase of $5. Magic Kingdom also rose by $5, from $184 to $189.
For 2025, the starting price for a ticket is $119, up $10 from this year, said WKMG. That fee doesn't include the 6.5 percent sales tax, or add-ons such as Park Hopper, Memory Maker, or the Water Park and Sports option.
A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom in August of 2025 will cost $15 more. Tickets for ages 3-9 run about $5 less.
Tickets are currently on sale through October 2025, the Washington Post reported.
The news comes shortly after the Walt Disney World Resort announced its new water park perk for 2025 guests on check-in day. Admission into the resort's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Blizzard Beach Water Park is included in stays.
