1. 22-year-old Dontae Styles, who Orange County deputies began searching for last week after he was filmed running over the husband of a woman he allegedly followed home after a road rage incident, was arrested Friday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. (Click Orlando)
2. Thousands of people celebrated the return of the annual Puerto Rican Parade and Festival in downtown Orlando on Saturday. This year's event was also meaningful for many because it was the first time in a long time families were able to gather together again to celebrate their pride and culture. (WESH)
3. Winter Park Police are searching for man accused of robbing a bank Saturday. The robbery occurred at the TD Bank on Orange Avenue at 9:52 a.m. Police released surveillance pictures of the suspect, who they said appears to be the same person involved in a bank robbery at the Fairwinds Credit Union in Winter Park last week. 4. The Osceola School for the Arts band will be returning to New York’s Lincoln Center for Essentially Ellington, the nation's top jazz education event, from May 5 to May 7. It is their first visit since 2019. They are one of only 15 high school-aged bands out of a pool of 89 schools from across the country selected to perform and compete at the festival. 5. Central Florida Rep. Representative and Florida Senate Candidate Val Demings (FL-10), as well as Rep. Jerry Nadler (NY-10), Rep. David Cicilline (RI-01), and Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14) have introduced The Oil and Gas Industry Antitrust Act, legislation to require the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate price manipulation in the gasoline market, including refinery capacity reductions and market monopoly conditions. The FTC would also be required to report to Congress a long-term strategy to stabilize oil and gas prices during national crises. (The Apopka Voice)
