VIDEO: Crazy Four-Legged Fun at Mutt March Despite Cold Temperatures

Dogs and their owners braved cold temperatures during the Suncoast Animal League's 7th Annual Mutt March Saturday at Dunedin's Highlander Park. Sweaters and blankets were the accessory of choice for many.

The event featured crazy contests and a Mutt March pledge walk that benefitted Palm Harbor's Suncoast Animal League. A total of $34,433 in pledges was raised during Mutt March and Dogtoberfest, another Suncoast Animal League event that was held last November.

Pet-Owner Look-Alike Contest

• 1st Place: "Harley" and Richard 
• 2nd Place: "Mirabelle" and Bernadette
• 3rd Place: "Precious" and Bernice 

Fido Idol Contest

• 1st Place: "Amarillo" (owner Anne)
• 2nd Place: "Jack" (owner Ana) 
• 3rd Place: "Dingo" (owner Mary Ann)

Dancing with the Paws Contest (contest had two entries)

• 1st Place: "Nugget" and Gina (see video)
• 2nd Place: "Sara" and Alexis (see video)

Pledge 4 Paws Pledge Drive grand total raised by all Pledge 4 Paws individuals and teams: $34,433

This pledge drive took place during two Suncoast Animal League events; Dogtoberfest in November of 2012 and Mutt March in February of 2013.
