Staff at the Jungle Terrace restaurant collected 50 toys for Pinellas Park children through the Pinellas Park Fire Department’s annual holiday drive and joined environmental cleanups at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and local beaches.
   

• Horse racing change for Gulfstream Park, Tampa Bay Downs proposed again (sun-sentinel.com) — Palm Harbor residents are represented directly in a new gambling proposal, as local Rep. Adam Anderson filed a bill to let Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs keep cardrooms and slots without running live horse races. The 2026-session measure would allow tracks to end racing several years after notifying the Florida Gaming Control Commission, potentially reshaping Florida’s thoroughbred industry.
