Of the people who we spoke with that lined up along Palm Harbor's Curlew Road Monday, none knew fallen soldier Zack Shannon, but all came to show their respect.
Some waited on the sidewalk for hours to see the motorcade escorting Shannon's remains and grieving family to Curlew Hills Memory Gardens.
The Dunedin 21-year-old died March 11 in a helicopter crash near Kandahar, Afghanistan.
