PHUH Drama Troupe Presents 'Into the Woods'

The production is one of eight high school shows chosen statewide to perform at the upcoming Florida State Thespian Festival.

Palm Harbor University High School's drama troupe will present an encore performance of the Tony Award winning musical, Into the Woods, on Friday, March 15. 

The production is one of eight high school shows chosen statewide to perform at the upcoming Florida State Thespian Festival. In addition, two cast members have been nominated for the prestigious Broadway Star of the Future Award for outstanding performances in the musical.

Into the Woods is a Stephen Sondheim musical The audience is taken on a journey to the darker side of fairy tales as the characters explore the pain of growing up, communal responsibility, and the values we pass on to our children. This particular production incorporates steampunk inspired costuming and elements of constructivist staging.
