Reader’s Choice: Favorite Place to Spend St. Patrick's Day
With the annual Irish holiday almost upon us, Palm Harbor Patch wants to know where its readers like to "Erin go party".
As a fun-filled holiday, St. Patrick’s Day ranks right up there with Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, Fourth of July and even New Years for some people.
For every person who stays home and watches a rerun of Rudy, there are many others who prefer to get their green on at a neighborhood pub, park or public meeting place.
Palm Harbor Patch wants to know what your favorite place to spend St. Patty’s Day is. We’ve provided a few spots in our poll, but please add your suggestions in the comments below.

Any place that has “Irish Pub & Eatery” in the name is usually a good choice for a place to spend St. Patrick’s Day. Throw in an ideal location, a terrific menu filled with traditional Irish food and drink, plus a daylong outdoor backyard bash and you’ve got the makings of a perfect St. Patty’s Day party spot.
This Ozona eatery is always an excellent choice as a place to go and have a good time, and St. Patty’s Day is no exception. With a laid-back atmosphere, relaxing vibe and corned beef & cabbage on the menu for the weekend, this is an ideal place to celebrate the holiday without having to deal with the big downtown crowds.

Across the street from Molly’s, J.C. Craver’s will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish style, with live music, whiskey and beer drink specials, and a menu of traditional Celtic favorites including corned beef & cabbage, fish & chips and shepherd’s pie.
It’s St. Patty’s Day, so what better place to spend the holiday than at a house of beer? With over 50 taps flowing, including a number of Celtic choices such as Murphy’s Irish Stout, Harpoon Celtic Red and Belhaven Scottish Ale, HOB has got plenty of reasons why you should celebrate St. Patty’s Day there.
Not only does the New York-style deli serve a variety of giant corned beef sandwiches, but the new location on US 19 is playing host to “the biggest St. Patty’s bash in the Bay”, a weeklong celebration that will feature live music and entertainment, a special Irish menu, 10,000 lbs. of corned beef and cabbage and “tons of green beer”. They're even selling special tee shirts that come with a coupon for a free green Lucky Dill Lager. Sounds like an ideal place to celebrate St. Patty’s Day in style.
