Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant Closes, Owes Back Taxes

Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant located at 34718 U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor is closed and a levy and seizure notice is posted on the front door. 

The levy and seizure notice is for unpaid tangible personal property taxes in the amount of $920.51.

A check of the Pinellas County Tax Collector website finds that $930.06 in 2011 tangible property taxes billed to Vallarta's are unpaid along with $647.83 in tangible property taxes from 2012.

Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant has locations in Tampa and Lutz. Both of those restaurants are open. The manager at the Tampa Vallarta's on Dale Mabry has not returned phone calls inquiring about the reason for closure of the Palm Harbor location.
