Woman Accused of Huffing Cans of Dust Remover in Walmart Bathroom

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies say Kimberly A. Reida, 35, was seen inhaling canned dust remover in the women's bathroom of the Palm Harbor Walmart on a recent Sunday afternoon.

A Palm Harbor woman is accused of "huffing" dust remover in the women's restroom of the Palm Harbor Walmart.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Walmart at 35404 U.S. 19 at 1:49 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17. They say Kimberly A. Reida, 35, was seen inhaling 3M Dust Remover in the bathroom. Deputies found Reida with two cans of the dangerous chemical. She admitted to buying the dust remover at Walmart and then going into the bathroom to inhale it. Reida appeared to be under the influence of drugs, according to an arrest affidavit.

3M Dust Remover is a compressed gas that is used to blow dust and lint from household office items like computer keyboards, silk plants, audio/video equipment and more. It contains chemicals that can cause death if inhaled and is sometimes inhaled by people to get high.
