Superintendent Timothy A. Smith has announced that Escambia County School District (ECSD) campuses and administrative offices will be open for normal operations on Monday, August 16, 2021.

ECSD will continue to work closely with the Escambia Emergency Operations Center to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Fred. Parents, families and staff will receive notification through automated telephone messages, as necessary. Parents and employees are encouraged to monitor district media sources, including the ECSD website. Superintendent Smith stated, “The safety of our students, families and staff continues to be our greatest concern.”
