Pensacola man arrested for DUI manslaughter in fatal Escambia crash (pnj.com) — A Pensacola resident has been arrested on a DUI manslaughter charge after a Sunday evening crash on State Road 173 in Escambia County left one person dead. Troopers say his vehicle crossed the center line and hit two southbound cars, and court records show he has a prior DUI and multiple careless driving citations in the county.

Pensacola woman sentenced in tax fraud, identity theft case (wkrg.com) — A Pensacola woman has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for preparing false tax returns and committing identity theft over several years. Prosecutors say she falsified deductions and credits, changed her business name during an IRS probe, and used another person’s ID to obtain a tax preparer number, and she must repay more than $400,000.
