As we approach this holiday season, what are you thankful for?
My husband on Jan.7,2022 — thirteen days after he was buried — I found out that I had breast cancer. My husband had lung cancer. We had been married for 50 years and I could have gave up anytime, but God fave me strength to go through five months of chemo. I lost left breast and eight lymph nodes. Was stage three when it was found. My place where I lived was falling down around me. My granddaughter started a GoFundMe but no one donated so my son-in-law took overtime at work to get me another place to live and has been working on it. It still has work to be done but by the Grace of God it will be finished one day. My son-in-law is a fireman and can only work on his days off, I'm thankful for him but mostly for God giving me what I needed in life to live, my oncologist, my surgeon, my family — but God gets all the honor and glory for putting people in my life to be my support team.
