Blind Pass Road to be Narrowed for Sidewalks, Bike Lanes

The City of St Pete Beach is currently planning and designing a major street project on Blind Pass Road from Gulf Blvd to 73rd Avenue.
According to the city, the street is being narrowed from 38 to 22 feet to construct new 6-foot wide sidewalks on both sides of the road.
New bicycle share lanes are also being added, along with more green space.
St. Pete Beach said new lighting and landscaping are also being evaluated.
In addition to this work, according to a news release, the city will also be constructing new stormwater improvements to increase the drainage in the area.
