Construction Begins on Madeira Beach Courtyard Marriott
Tuesday, city officials joined with hotel management for the groundbreaking ceremony.
A new 90-room waterfront hotel will soon be open on Madeira Beach.
Tuesday Madeira Beach city officials, the chamber and Marriott hotel management broke ground of what will become the Madeira Beach Courtyard by Marriott.
It will be located just north of Publix at the east end of the Madeira Beach Causeway off of Duhme Road.
The hotel will include resort-style swimming pool, restaurant, marina, more than 20 boat slips and large conference rooms.
Opening for the Madeira Beach Courtyard Marriott is set for summer 2014.
