Man Tasered by Treasure Island Police
Four officers had to take the 52-year-old man into custody after he became paranoid and agitated and threatened a victim, police said.

Treasure Island Police were forced to Taser an uncooperative suspect June 9 while police were investigating a false imprisonment charge, according to officials.
Police said they were called to a home on Paradise Lane several times that day to address multiple noise and welfare complaints.
When police arrived, the victim told investigators that Terry Turnbeaugh, 52, had become increasingly paranoid and agitated that day.
The victim, according to the affidavit, fled to a room and tried to initially call police, but Turnbeaugh pulled the phone from the wall. The report said he then forced his way into the room and told the victim if she tried to call police, "someone was going to get hurt."
Police said when they confronted Turnbeaugh to test his blood alcohol level, he "was highly agitated and pulled away" from police only to continue to "thrash around and kick toward the officers."
That is when police had to use a Taser.
According to the arrest affidavit, Turnbeaugh "had to be taken into custody by four officers because of his behavior and strength."
He has been charged with false imprisonment, failure to register as a sex offender, resisting arrest without violence and violation of a no contact order.
Turnbeaugh has previously been charged with failure to register as a sex offender, possession of cocaine, simple battery, burglary, possession of marijuana, attempted homicide, felon in possession of a concealed weapon and domestic battery.
