Indian Rocks Beach Woman Found Dead

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said her death was not suspicious.

Relatives of Penelope Lacy arrived at her Indian Rocks Beach home to visit June 15 when they found her dead in the backyard, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. 

Lacy, 58, was pronounced dead by Suncoast Fire Rescue.

Authorities said Lacy's death does not appear to be suspicious in nature and the Medical Examiner's officer will determine the cause of death.

Deputies responded to the call around 10:16 a.m. July 15 in 1200 block Beach Trail. 

The investigation continues.
