Photos: Underwater Egg Hunt and Springfest in St. Pete Beach

Saturday's underwater egg hunt in St. Pete Beach included pool time, bounce houses, and an interactive touch-a-truck display.

Kids lined up baskets and bags in hand around the edges of the St. Pete Beach Community Center and Aquatics Complex Saturday. The whistles blew and the kids jumped into the pool to gather as many colorful eggs as they could.

The egg wranglers were divided into three different sessions for the sixth annual underwater egg hunt March 23.  After the uniquely Florida-style egg hunt some families headed to adjacent Horan Park to play on the bounce houses and explore the interactive touch-a-truck display with emergency and construction vehicles.
