Traveling the Sunshine Skyway? Lane Closings Ahead!
Expect lane closures at the top of the bridge span as construction work gets under way.
Motorists should expect overnight lane closings on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge starting Friday night, June 21, and running through Sunday, June 29.
Construction work will be done on I-275 from the Manatee Toll Plaza to 54th Avenue South.
One lane may be closed in each directions of I-275 near the top of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists are advised to use caution during nighttime travel across the bridge span.
