Man Dies After Being Shot In Upper Body in Plant City Sunday: Police

PLANT CITY, FL — Plant City police are investigating a shooting Sunday night that took a man's life.

At 9:31 p.m., police were called to the 1200 block of Mendonsa Road where they found a 44-year-old man shot in the upper body.

He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police have located a person of interest and are actively investigating the shooting.
