Accomplished Stone Carver C.R. Gray Will Install Sculpture In Safety Harbor
The world-renowned stone sculptor will appear at the Museum and Cultural Center Monday, where he will install a new piece on the property and conduct a class in the evening.
World-renowned stone carver C.R. Gray, who trained in Europe and whose work has been featured all over the country, will visit the new Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center on Monday, January 28.
According to a press release Gray will install a sculpture titled "Rock-ET Man" during the day on Monday, and then he will host a free artist talk and stone carving workshop at 6:30 that evening.

Gray has been carving stone for over twenty years. He apprenticed in Vermont and has trained in Norway, Germany, and Italy. His stone sculptures have been featured in the Cities of Boston, Massachusetts; Portsmouth, Virginia; Charleston, South Carolina; and Key West, Florida.
He currently lives in Maine with his wife and four children.
