Sundays, 10am - 11:15am. Jan 11 – June 21. ((No Class: Mar 22, Apr 5 & 26, May 24)) Cost: $5/per child. Included with adult membership or adult class enrollment.
These drop-in classes are designed to help children develop a peaceful, positive state of mind by listening to and applying Buddha’s simple compassionate teachings and meditations. Each week there is a short meditation, a brief interactive lesson, chanted prayers, and a creative activity. We emphasize kindness to others and the cultivation of a happy heart.
Parents and/or guardians are welcome to attend class with their child or attend our adult Sunday Meditations for World Peace Class that takes place at the same time.
The class is most appropriate for children ages 4-15.
