City Commission Meeting Is Tonight

Dedications and nominations dominate this week's agenda.

Tonight the Safety Harbor City Commission will handle a number of dedications and nominations, according to this week's agenda.

In addition to presenting the 2012 Volunteer of the Year Award to code enforcement official Curtis McCoy, II, the commission will consider a request by the Safety Harbor Little League to rename a street and dedicate City Park in honor of Danny Donovan.

Donovan, a longtime, vital volunteer for the league, passed away suddenly in the dugout at the park on March 11.
