Green Springs Bistro Celebrates Anniversary Today

Green Springs Bistro, home to awesome art and mouth-watering Gulf Coast cuisine, is celebrating its 12th anniversary today.

Owner Kris Kubik wants everyone to know she appreciates all the support she and her partner, Paul Kapsalis, have received over the last dozen years.

"We opened in downtown Safety Harbor on September 12, 2000...and we wanted to thank everyone in Safety Harbor," Kubik said via email.

"We know we wouldn't be here celebrating today if it weren't for everyone's support."

Green Springs is known for featuring local artists and musicians as well as its signature dishes like sausage, shrimp and grits, gumbo and fresh seafood.

The restaurant was a members who stayed at the Spa during the week of the RNC.

In honor of the special ocassion, Kubik says they will be offering $4 draft beers and $5 house wines tonight so everyone can celebrate.
