Harbor Views: Marshall Street Park

Marshall Street park is considered a vital component in Safety Harbor's beautiful parks system.

But as you may or may not know, the park, like many other places in town, is plagued by a pesky and invasive vine - the air potato.

Next Saturday a group of volunteers, led by Julie Inman, Joe Caisse and Gisela Bennie, will attack the problem at the park with a group 'Eco Egg Hunt' cleanup effort.

This photo, submitted to our Pics & Clips gallery by avid Patcher Barbi Kiser, is a reminder of what a jewel of a natural retreat Marshall Street Park is, and that the community must join together to prevent it from being overrun by invaders.
