Foot-Related Problems Got You Down? Let CR Comforts Pick You Up

Have you ever experienced foot, neck or back pain, but you’re not sure what caused it?

The key to the problem could be found on your feet, as studies have shown that wearing incorrect footwear can lead to a variety of maladies including sciatica, circulatory and knee problems. 

Thankfully CR Comforts, a new shop in downtown Safety Harbor, can help eliminate some of these troublesome issues by fitting people with comfortable, affordable and stylish shoes. 

“When you’re on your feet, working or running errands or exercising, you need to have proper support,” owner Cameil Leschinsky explained. 

“Not only will you be more comfortable, but it’s better for your back and you’ll be healthier.” 

And Leschinsky knows her stuff. 

Not only has she had foot-related health issues since she was young, she worked in a Tampa orthotic shop for three years. 

Plus as fashion conscious woman, she knows the value of a stylish shoe. 

“Women want to be able to look nice, and usually when they hear ‘comfort,’ they go away from it. Here our motto is, ‘where style meets comfort.’ ” 

High arches, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs are all issues that can affect the foot as well as the rest of the body, and each condition can be treated with custom footwear.

CR (as in “see our”) Comforts carries a number of custom orthotic footwear lines, and Leschinsky personally helps match each customer with the right shoe for their needs. 

“Our job is to measure your foot and get you into the right shoe,” Leschinsky said. “Many of our shoes also have a built-in orthotic that can be removed and placed in your own shoe.” 

Leschinsky, who lives in Safety Harbor and specifically chose the spot above Main Street Jewelery to help bring business to the area, said she will meet busy customers for special appointments and match online pricing. 

Her shoes range in price from $45 to $150, considerably less than doctor prescribed orthotics that can cost up to $500 with no guarantee they will work. 

She also offers a 10 percent discount to any Safety Harbor resident and a 15 percent discount to any member of the health care industry, all in the name of helping people have healthier feet, and lives.

“Anyone who has to stand a lot, we provide footwear that helps alleviate their problems,” she added. 

“Once you go into comfort, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.”
