Interactive Murder Mystery to Take Place in Safety Harbor

A number of downtown businesses are combining to host a good old fashioned mystery dinner theater this Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Musicians Co-Op, in conjunction with Yellow Snow Productions and a quartet of downtown restaurants, is hosting Safety Harbor's first Mystery Dinner Theater this Sunday.

Four local businesses will be involved in the event:Β Copperheads Tap House (the scene of the crime), Fleur de Lis Cafe, Cello's Char House and Brady's Backyard BBQ.Β

The theme of the event is Murder in Mayberry. Characters such as Aunt Bee, Gomer Pyle, Otis Campbell and Thelma Lou are candidates to be the culprit, and it's up to the dinner guests to solve the mystery.

Everyone meets at Copperheads to view the "scene of the crime," then they will adjourn to the restaurant they chose to eat at, where they will enjoy a nice dinner while attempting to figure out "whodunit."

After dinner, everyone goes back to Copperhead's, where the murderer is revealed and a Halloween costume contest will be held.
