Photo of the Day: Meeting of the Mayors

Friday night's special "Meet the Mayor" event at the Safety Harbor Spa and Resort was meant to honor both the city's former mayor, Andy Steingold, and current mayor Joe Ayoub.

Here the two leaders exchange a handshake on the dais as Steingold passed the microphone to Ayoub, much like he passed the mayoral torch to him a couple of weeks ago.

The stars of Safety Harbor were out in full force for the gala, which was sponsored by Destination Tampa Bay magazine as well as the resort.
