Photo of the Day: Mayor Steingold Holds Court

It was an emotional yet uplifting city commission meeting Monday night, as outgoing mayor Andy Steingold was honored for his years of dedicated service to the city.

Among other tributes, Steingold, who was forced to step down when he decided to run for circuit court judge last summer, received this giant street sign reading, appropriately, "Steingold Court."

The new mayor, Joe Ayoub, thanked Steingold for his many years of service.

"On behalf of the city commission, the residents of the city, we wish you a very sincere thank you for your committed service and and dedication to the city over the last eight years," he said.
