Reader Spotlight: Carmen Brandy Blogs For Patch

Safety Harbor Middle School student Carmen Brandy is a rising country music star with an adult sound and a ton of talent.

She's already played a number of venues in the area - she just found out she will be playing at the Strawberry Festival in February - and she is pursuing her dream of making it big in the country music mecca of Nashville, TN.

We are happy to announce that Carmen and her mom/manager, Kari, will be chronicling her journey from her home in the Harbor to the bright lights of 'Music City' right here on Patch.
