Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce Will Be Closed Saturday

A new paint job is being applied to the interior of the Main Street building as part of a small refurbishing project.

The Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce will be closed on Saturday, January 26 as a group of volunteers paints the lobby and conference room.

Chamber spokesperson Normajeanne Anderson said the new look is part of a small effort to spruce up the downtown building.

"We're painting two rooms now and the rest later," Anderson said. "Recently we put new pavers out back for parking, and we're going to be replacing the front door soon."

"It's part of the beautification of Safety Harbor. We're starting with the chamber!" she joked.

The chamber had previously put word out that they were looking for volunteers to help paint, but president Marie Padavich said they have now enough volunteers.
