He and his wife, Sandy, headed to Landmark Aviation in Tampa on Wednesday morning for their first rally for Gov. Mitt Romney.
"I don't really like either candidate," admitted Carew. "We send people to Washington to get things done, and it seems to me that not much is accomplished."

But when forced to choose a candidate, Carew said he'll have to go with Romney.
"He turned Massachusetts around so I'm hoping he can do it for the country and get us jobs," said Carew. "If he's elected, I don't think we'll be any worse off than we are now. It's really a crapshoot."
His wife of 41 years is more positive. In contrast to her husband, Sandy Carew is a lifelong Republican.
"I believe Romney will do right for our country," she said.
