Safety Harbor Seafood Festival This Weekend

The annual event known for its fresh seafood and live entertainment draws thousands of people to the Marina every year.

It's that time again, Harborites!

The Safety Harbor Seafood Festival, one of the biggest events on the annual city calendar, takes place this weekend, March 8 & 9, at the Safety Harbor Marina.

Thousands of people will flood the area in search of fresh seafood and live entertainment, which will be provided in spades courtesy of the many vendors and full lineup of music acts.

The festivities kick off on Friday evening at 5 p.m. with the Jimmy Griswold Band and conclude Saturday night after the Betty Fox Band takes the stage at 8 p.m.

In between, Veterans Memorial Lane will be lined with food and merchandise vendors selling everything from crab cakes to marine themed art. The event will also feature a family area with games and activities and traditional food as well.

According to the city website, food vendors spaces are already sold out. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center.

3:30 p.m. – The Natural Blend Band rock
6 p.m. – Stimulus rock
8 p.m. – Betty Fox Band blues/R&B
