U.S. 19 Traffic Signal Comes Down Wednesday

The removal will force traffic trying to enter southbound U.S. 19 to use an alternate route. Here are details.

The traffic signal at U.S. 19 and Enterprise will come down on Wednesday night, forcing motorists heading south to find alternate access on to the state highway, according to the Florida Transportation Department.

A concrete barrier will be erected in the median, after the signal comes down Wednesday evening.

Here is how drivers are impacted:

  • Left turns from Enterprise Road on to U.S. 19 will no longer be allowed.
  • Motorists will not be able to cross over U.S. 19 at Enterprise Road.

Instead, traffic heading west on Enterprise will have to take a different route to go south on U.S. 19.

Motorists first will need to turn right and drive north on U.S. 19 to Countryside Boulevard, where they will make a U-turn under U.S. 19 to rejoin southbound U.S. 19.
