Wife Of Tuskegee Airman To Speak in Safety Harbor Today
Mildred Wilson will share stories and photographs of her husband's time in the first African American air corps.

As part of Black History Month, the wife of one of the original Tuskegee Airmen will speak at a free coffee talk at the Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center Tuesday morning.
Mildred Wilson, a Tarpon Springs resident, will be talking about about her husband's time in the first African-American air corps.
"Mrs. Wilson does speaking engagements all year long all over the area," city volunteer coordinator Donna Godwin-Mack said.

"We're really looking forward to having her speak here in Safety Harbor."
Mrs. Wilson is expected to share stories and photographs of her husband's stint with the airmen, an elite group of soldiers who flew and maintained combat aircraft during World War II.
