1 Injured In Sarasota Shooting: Police

A shooting that left one injured Monday night in Sarasota is under investigation, police said.

SARASOTA, FL — One person was injured in a Monday night shooting near the intersection of 24th Street and N. Osprey Avenue, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.

Officers responded to the shooting just before 7 p.m.

Police didn’t say whether the adult victim was a man or a woman.
