1 Person Injured In Gun Range Shooting
One person was taken to the hospital Friday after being injured in a gun range shooting, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff.
NOKOMIS, FL — One person was taken to the hospital Friday after being injured in an apparent accidental shooting, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
"The initial call was received at 11:03 a.m," said a spokesperson for the sheriff's office. "One person was injured and transported to the hospital. Their condition is unknown."
The shooting occurred at the Knight Trail Park Pistol and Rifle Range in Nokomis.

This public shooting facility offers supervised rifle and handgun ranges. It is owned and operated by Sarasota County with oversight provided by the FWC.
