10-Foot-Long Gator Caught Outside Sarasota County 7-Eleven: Watch
Deputies wrangled a 10-foot, 3-inch-long gator outside a Venice 7-Eleven, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.

VENICE, FL — Deputies recently wrangled a massive gator at a Venice 7-Eleven, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post. (Watch a video of the gator being wrangled below.)
The 10-foot, 3-inch-long gator was found outside the store at 2751 N. River Road.
This is the second time in about a week that deputies have had to trap a large gator after they wrangled a 600-pound, 14-foot gator in Sarasota County.

“Yes… it happened again. Another day, another gator — Sarasota’s really determined to make this a weekly series,” the sheriff’s office said.
