SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Deputies recently wrangled a 600-pound, 14-foot gator in Sarasota County, authorities said. (Watch a video of the gator wrangling below.)

“How many deputies does it take to evict a 14-foot gator? Apparently, [seven] brave deputies and [one] skilled trapper,” the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday. “This massive guest had plans to stay for the holidays, but we had other ideas.”

The agency added, “With a wave goodbye, we say, ‘See ya later, Alligator!’”

The massive gator was trapped and released at an alligator farm.
