18 Florida Counties Report Coronavirus Deaths
Florida health officials reported 33,193 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state as 18 counties reported new deaths.
TALLAHASSEE, FL — Florida health officials reported 33,193 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state as of Wednesday while the number of people who lost their battle with the virus rose to 1,218 in Florida, an increase of 47 deaths from the previous day.
The total represents an additional 347 confirmed cases of the virus in Florida during the previous 24-hour period.

Eighteen of Florida's 67 counties reported new deaths on Wednesday.
Miami-Dade reported 14 new deaths. Broward County reported three more deaths. Palm Beach County reported five new deaths. Together, those three South Florida counties account for about 60 percent of the confirmed cases in the state.

Manatee County reported three new deaths as did Pinellas County. Charlotte County also reported three more deaths as did Sarasota County. Polk County reported two new deaths as did Volusia County.
Bay County reported one new death as did Clay County, Collier County, Hendry County, Hillsborough County, Indian River County, Lake County, Lee County and Orange County.
Miami-Dade reported a total of 11,927 confirmed cases, more than any other county. Nearby Broward County, which includes Fort Lauderdale, reported 4,898 cases. Palm Beach County, which includes West Palm Beach, reported 2,911 cases.
Hillsborough County, which includes Tampa, reported 1,105 cases as of Wednesday. Orange County, which includes Orlando, reported 1,371 cases.
