2 In Custody, 1 Suspect Sought In FL Shooting Investigation
Two are in custody after a south Sarasota County shooting as deputies look for a third person of interest, the sheriff's office said.
NOKOMIS, FL — Deputies are looking for a third suspect in a shooting investigation in Nokomis, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting happened around River Boulevard South and Florence Street around 11 p.m.
Three people of interest were identified and two were taken into custody, the sheriff’s office said.

The shooting was an isolated incident with no danger to the public.
